Yeah, the stings where quite nasty! But apart from that, it was quite interesting to see heh. Now its hurting ;) The drug worked out :S argh

Cos im totaly not happy now. It's not me but my sis who's in the hospital.
Heart problems. And now the doctors think it genetic.
Damn we have so much of the same stuff me and my sis that i got scared and un happy right there and then.
Can't help to feel every heart beat is a "abnormal heart beat".
If i keep thinking like this i'll get heart problems form stress.

MarD, yeah, well i missed the cutting part, since i had to lay down. After that i could watch. THey where getting the 'bed' (where ur nail starts to grow) out or something. very nice watch. Lol

I can now see my bandage turn red , and the bandage was pretty thick. That'll promise some nice stuff tomorrow morning when i have to work on the bandages. :S

roflmao. You know, some things get easier when you simply ask ... like i did :P

anyway. Today i had to take the bandage of, but they also but something IN the wound. Unbelievable it got in, but that also scared me to get it out. I did it, but it was not pretty. Rofl, water all colored red. My brother helped me refreshing the water.

Funny thing is, now the stuff is cleaned, it does not feel as painful as yesterday.

That's what I told you - once this strip they put into the wound is out, the worst is over already. From now on, there won't be much pain or anything.

the only pain i have is from their stings. They go around your whole toe. I saw it, but i wished i looked away. It almost felt like the needle would come out on the other side of my toe! I stil feel my toe is messed up from this drugging.

Its looking twice as big as it uses to be rofl. Like i hit something very hard , it also has a nice color... red/purplish... no pain with the nail itself though. Weird..

What??? How many times did they sting? With me, they did it just two times, once on each side, and four or five hours after the operation, the effect had completely worn off. No strange colours, either. Well, maybe your case was slightly different, or Dutch doctors are more "trigger-happy" when it comes to injections... 9_9
Concerning that avatar: If you do that I'll have to resort to using Opera and configure it in a way that it only loads placeholders wherever there is a picture... :|

Well they did twice a sting too. But when they inject, they move around with the needle so they can get the drug everywhere in ur toe. Now, that fucks up some tissue i guess.

Once, when I had to do some blood tests, the nurse sticked the needle into my arm, and twisted it around to find a vein...

OMG it hurts just to think about it...

Jesus that sounds painful (the needle thing). I always get comments like "Wow, you have wonderful veins" when they take my blood or give me a shot. Mostly when i give blood though. :D

I use to get cortizone shots in my eyeball and boy-oh-boy is that painful. They stick a thinck needle right into the back of your eyeball (going through the eye of course). And yeah, your fully awake and un-druged when they do it. :(

Update:

The toe is not healing to my liking. The other side of the toenail is beginning to hurt and it does not look good. I am going to see the doctor soon (thursday). Omg, here another surgery comes? DAMMIT.

I warned you, no subbing, for the love of jebus no stubbing the toe.. you migt've messed it up if you subbed it or not using bandages to prevent further infection. Did you also soak your toe in warm water with a bit of soap? that helps it heal a lot dude.

I soak it every day twice if possible. I use bandages all the time. I did not stub it even! I do walk on it though...

The entire toe is redish, i'm gonna see the doctor tomorrow. @#(*&$@#)(*&@#$

lol. Well seriously. There is a chance that they will remove the whole toenail and clean it. Bah! Well, at least i know how the stings are now... and since those are not that painful in the way i thought first, i won't be feeling nervous like i did before :)

Closest i've had to what you are describing, was when i ripped an entire toenail off in a swimming pool without noticing.. (I noticed when there was a red trail following me.. and so did everyone else ;/)

But was that the end of it? NOOOO! it got infected.. the entire toe when a deep pulsating red, with loads of green coming from the nail bed.. lovely experiance :)

(Meh, you're all being sick.. i might as well join in :D)

wow @ frosty. Well that aint as close as i have it. Its just totally different. But i find it quite something when you RIP OFF yourentire toenail without noticing, thats just ... ouch...

anyway, the infecting part sucks yes. :)

we being sick? No, this is just describing a way to fight infections and talking about operations :P

and the diarhea... well yeah, its not comfortable, and ur stomache feels a bit odd, but i'm fine ;) Lets just hope it helps with the toe! :)
