I thought that way too, until people found out how to force viruses on you.
I clicked one link ( torrent tracker link or something like that ) to find a tv show and then everything went downhill.
Dozens of popups showed up and my virus scanner went off saying I had 2 new viruses.

I don't care how safe they make IE nowadays, I could never browse without tabs :)

Re: How secure is your browser?

well I don't trust such tests as they are all known bugs of a specific browser, and they can't prove which browser is safe or not :)

but here's a small html file will kill IE (and windows as well):
PHP Code:

<script language="javascript">
while (
1) {

window.open("http://www.someurl.com");
}
</script>

This doesn't "work" with Konqueror btw :)

arf.. well I can't even check!

Quote:

Session syncronization error is detected. Possible reasons of the problem:

*

You have operated 'Back' button in your web browser
*

Browser Check is already running in another window
*

Your IP address was changed
*

You have changed proxy settings of your web browser
*

Your session is timed out after 20 minutes of inactivity.

If none of the above applies use the feedback form to report the problem.
(none of those help)

Same message as Rick... funny enough, it's not my ad blocker program as I turned it off.
