buffered is kinda like ECC it it just another checker... this is only required for AMD 64bit processor... it will work with anything but if you don't have a 64 bit processor and the ECC/Buffered is more exspensive then just get the NON ECC... if the ECC/Buffered is less then get that

Yo, sorry to hijack your topi, Whitman, but I'm gonna put 1024MB of RAM in my computer. I already have 512MB installed (DDR). Which is best, another 512 or to take that one off and put 1 of 1024?

isnt that also a money issue
you have to check if your chipset supports dual channel ram. then 2 ram modules of the same type are an advantage, otherwise it's just an issue of slots |
