The other curious thing is when I click on "new posts" I don't always get all the new posts. I've given up on the feature as it simply does not work well enough and I've been missing a lot of new posts. Perhaps it has something to do with subscribing to a forum? Anyone know?

it's the same here. It used to work, but some day it did not anymore. It might be since we upgraded to vBulletin 3.0.0 Gamma.
