I have a question. The zip installer, and the exe installer is the same, right?

If so, then I already have it.
Here are the list of file that I have downloaded:
1. RealBot : Artificial Intelligence Version 1.0 - Windows (EXE)
2. RealBot WIP installer for Windows
3. The very latest RealBot DLL (metamod)
4. RealBot WIP #9 (Build 3005) - Windows -- my current

I have downloaded the list no. 2 because, back then, I didn't know that it is the same as list no. 1. I don't want to use Windows DLL build 3057, because it is not metamod

One more thing. Is it just me or does anyone experience the same problem with cs 1.5?

OK, if it was me i would do it all over again. Remove every trace of RealBot (even if I had done it 10 times allready ;) )

Then I would download the following from the filebase:
1. RealBot WIP installer for Windows (the exe installer, extract to half-life folder, MUST have this)
2. Windows DLL build 3057 (It IS metamod compatible... and goes in the "...\half-life\realbot\dll" folder. MUST have this OR another Work In Progress dll)
3. RealBot (WIP) Personality Manager (to create bots with personality, when this is installed there is a readme file.)

I have not pasted the acctual links but the names of the links, because the linking goes wrong sometimes???:(

And I have tried it on my 1.5 insallation, I don't get the msg about wrong install path, but it loads the "IAD?" files or what the name is... Don't know why? BUT it creates the rbn and rbx files in the correct paths.

OK got it.
The only problem is the error msg.
bx files cannot be created nor personality files.

Does it still complain about the "wrong path"????

Have a look at my installation of Realbot (The attached .jpg is for counter-strike 1.5 installation) and make sure your installation is exactly the same.

Notice, both 'cstrike' AND 'Realbot' is directly under the 'HALF-LIFE'-folder.

Can you show me your realbot directory.

I have deleted the rbx files that came with BSP2RBN tool, and I hope that the game makes a replacement.
About the personality files. It seems that the game is not using it.

Interesting. I have the same directory structure like yours.

I have a question when you add a bot do you use the botmenu or the console?
Or
Do you toggle the console after you have created the Bots?

I use both, but i have moded my botmenu to include some other things as well.

Ooh, just thougt of something, in your startup options, or preferences to cs (in the shortcut) do you have some extra info there? for example: gamedll -blablabla or something? ;)
The command i use in consol is:
realbot add

Edit:
I sometimes toggle the console after adding bots with botmenu
(I think the original botmenu has rb_addbot and that doesn't work)

All the rb_ commands are ancient. Get an updated commandmenu from somewhere... I forget where exactly lol
