Running the CS server is the only thing that this powerful machine is used for.....nothing else at all.

You have the complete opposite problem HuntaKillaz has...
What FPS does your server get?
do you have a plugin like booster or something?
because your computer is going so fast that their aiming is slow..
and HuntaKillaz computer was going so slow that their aiming is fast... so fast that it would never lock on target..
this botaim code needs a fix up...

Well I am using Booster v2.40 (http://forums.unitedadmins.com/index...howtopic=38008) and have it set at default where the server will run at 200FPS however, I have been using Booster on our server for ages (years) and it was on when I starting using PODbot back in late June and the targeting was not a problem then.

well now it is because this new more realistic algorithm needs the real frametimes..
booster doesn't really help pings... at least from what I've seen on other servers..

take off booster and tell me how the bots aim

I just took booster off the server however, something has just come up causing me to have to leave the house at 2:30pmEST...grrrrr!!!

You can go join the server if you like but I will not be able to report back till tomorrow sometime.

k I just gave it a go and the bots are killers!
but.. wow.. I never seen booster make it playable across coast without lag because when you removed it I was getting 100 and up and before you removed it I was getting around 60...
I'll try to make the pod's aiming work with booster..

Yes everything appears to be fine now with PODbot since removing Booster v2.40.

Since you have pinpointed this as a problem, I am going to actually test older versions of Booster because if memory serves me correctly, these problems between Booster and PODbot may have come about after I upgraded Booster from v2.35 to v2.40.

I will get back to you on my findings but as you stated, Booster is great and when you have time, see if you can get the two to work together. You seen how much is lowered your ping when it was on and how much it went up after I disabled it and we are talking about you on the West Coast connecting to an East Coast Server (Located in PA) that is not even close to any major Internet Backbones in terms of routing.
