does it lag with all commands or specific ones? and what maps you play (Like silver ghost says).
Are you playing on lan or over the internet, if over the internet with how many player (human) are conected? and what is your connection speed (up/down).

And remember, your cpu and ram have to handel: you, the bots, the humanplayers, ect. so it probebly need alot of cpu usage and ram.

I play all the normal maps, office, dust, aztec, etc. 6-8 bots on each team. 1-2 real players. Cable internet, not sure the up/down speed. Like 300k. Um.. LAN I guess, I just click the create server button.

12-16 bots, that's much. Ever tried less bots, e.g. 3 bots in each team?

I agree with Terran, Lantern, try to reduce the bots until you get better performance. As Terran says, try 3, then 4 and so on. ignore the lag at the beginning of the game, only look for lag AFTER the bots are running. That's the way RealBot works at the moment.
