Re: Bug-NUM_FOR_EDICT Error: Bad Pointer
Could be the stats plugin for AMX. It is similar to statsme as I understand it (correct me if I am wrong). Once I turned off statsme the crashes dropped dramatically.

All,
Here's the linux .so file with the bad pointer fix. It's an unofficial version but it fixes the bug that crashes the server when a map with buttons in it loads. It was compiled with gcc-2.96. Enjoy, -Dethpod |
Re: Bug-NUM_FOR_EDICT Error: Bad Pointer
Thanks a ton, Dethpod! I'll send it to one of my friends directly - he's a linux nut and will be happy to get his hands on a new i386.so... =)

It's the same source, only difference basically, each time there is a FIND_ENTITY_something (or FindEntitySomething) just ensure the edict_t pointer that is passed in is reset to NULL before entering the loop :)
