Hello,
I would like to participate in the development of epb (clean up code, make it more oo, reworking (german) texts, fix linux build, etc.). Wouldn't it be a good idea to put epb on sourceforge to allow others to participate?
Regards,
Markus

Hello
Glad to see that you are interested.
But there is a little problem. LightNinja(The creator of EPB) want max 2 coders to develop this bot. If you want you can join with me and help me with the coding of the bot. Tell me what do you think.
Heyyo,
Ohh, another coder for EPB? I like the idea, we could see progress faster. :)

we could see progress faster. :)
Do you mean something? :P
Heyyo,
I meant as in 2 coders is faster than 1. Cause in mathematical terms it doubles the rate at which work can get done. If you thought I meant it as a joke or anything I diddn't, I know you've got a life to lead, and so do I now with a job as well (w00t! full time computer technician!) so finding time to kick back and play games or code seems harder. I think I havn't played a game in 3 days actually. Just check my e-mail after work n' eat n' then sleep.
And plus Storm, there's a saying that goes, "you should never rush a good thing" so I respect your speed of work, cause you do a good job of updating EPB. Keep at it man. :D

Hi Storm,
I mainly want to get the bot running stable on linux (for the clanservers of my clan). I am not an _experienced_ linux / C / C++ coder, but I have professional Java / OO knowlegde and want to refactor the code to be easier to maintain and to understand and to be more OO. I am not so keen working on the AI. Do you have a CVS or something else for epb?
I don't understand the restriction to 2 coders because epb uses the gpl license which enables everyone to make his own epb clone. Or am I wrong?

MarD don't worry. I just have joked. ;)
markus_heiden so you want only a working linux build. I think that I have one but it is not tested. If you want I will give you the linux build to test it.
The GPL license in only because of metamod. If you remove the metamod stuff EPB will be not GPL-ed.
