Bots Wont Work

I have downloaded the bot and when I try to make a server it just closes without any warnings or anything to my desktop. I have installed it to the right path I see the shrikbot folder in the dod folder but it does not work!

Someone please help me out!

Listen server (server game on the same pc)??
Or are you starting a dedicted server ?
Won or steam ?

In case of steam ::
Remove the dod launch properties.
Right click dod in the steam games menu.
Select properties.
Click launch options and remove "-dll dlls\shrikebot.dll"

Start a dod map.
After the map has started properly exit the game and restore the dod launch options.

Then try again. Bots should work now.

I have the same problem the game closes (Day of Defeat) when i click newgame and select start, i use xp, 564mhz processor, ati 7500, using steam
