I need help with the bot...

Ok, Im a noob to all this bot stuff. The first thing I did was download the newest version which was v5. Then I clicked on the installation program. It asked me where my directory was. I play CS 1.6, on Steam. I put it to

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\myemailadress\counter-strike\

If I did it wrong, please tell me where I should actually put it. Then I run CS 1.6, and click on New Game. I go to de_dust2, and no bots are there. I press the bot menu which is p or =, and nothing happens. Help please?

You are installed the bots in to the correct dir. Try the console command :
addbot
and tell me if the bots join.

I have done the exact same thing and the same problem has occured. I tried the console command but to no avail! HElP its not working

If you have any other mods then try to uninstall them. After that install E[POD]bot again and try if work.

I have also done all of the above and whenever i type "addbot" in console it does nothing, and i have no mods on. Anything u gotta do with the bot cfg?

I also have the same problem with v5, not to mention that the titles STILL show up as the strings instead of proper Engrish.

Ouch. :( I'm sorry guys. It is because I have added the titles in to the installer and it can work property with CS 1.5 and maybe with CS 1.6. Backup your old titles.txt and all will be OK. For version 5.1 I will make the installer more good. ;)

Hi, having all the same problems. Have a legal steam CS 1.6, and just installed E[POD] to the correct directory, but gets "unknown command" when typing addbot in console. Nothing happens.

The Storm, you wrote "Backup your old titles.txt". I uninstalled E[POD] in order to retrieve my old titles.txt file, but then titles.txt is missing. Do I have to reinstall CS, or is there a titles.txt file for download? Am I getting it all wrong here maybe?, is this what you mean at all? Sorry for bothering, but some help here would be nice! Thx.

Ah, a friend got a fresh "unboted" CS on his system, so I can copy his .txt file.
Doing that and paste/overwrite it onto my E[POD]'ed CS will make it work?

Here you are the correct titles for CS 1.5 and CS 1.6.

Put them in to the \cstrike\ dir.
For Steam:
X:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\your_account\counter-strike\cstrike\
For WON CS 1.5:
X:\Sierra\Half-Life\cstrike\

No. Just copy the new file over the old one.
