Err.. weird prob.. need help..

Err.. it's weird, when just trying norm wolfmp without fritz on beach everything works fine.. but as soon as I try it with fritzbot loaded? my guy starts to hover a bit... n' eventually go flying! o_O

I tried this with both alpha v0.40 and v0.41.. I had to reinstall RTCW cause I lacked hd space n' needed to strip off a few games.. now I'm putting it on me other hd so space shouldn't be a prob for rtcw. ;)

so.. err... helpage? :P

Is this during the warmup??

This has confused people before - during warmup, the bots will use the shove cmd and push you around, its a bit of fun during the warmup.

However, during the game this never happens, and nothing is changed with the player physics, so its IMPOSSIBLE that you would fly, unless you turned NOCLIP on. So, turn off noclip. :P 9_9

If thats not it - supply a demo showing it happen.

Sure, I'll record a demo. It's weird, I diddn't use noclip at all!

I just was walking along.. n' then allova sudden I'd hover then fly up... and then sometimes slam me into the ground, turning my guy into pudding. :P

Your bots are playing god with me Mal, and it's scaring me. :D

Running RtCW version 1.41?

You can check anet.inf (I believe) in the RtCW parent directory. At least I think so, I'm currently not on a computer with RtCW installed so I can't check. :/

That would definately be the other suspect - I've heard of weird problems if you run anything other than 1.41.

No quite wrong mal, lol. I was going up the ladder on beach and one bot shoved me so hard i flew up onto the tarp leading off the top of the base. It sure was fun sitting up there nailing axis bots, but eventually i got blasted by a panzer, it was all good fun though. 8)

Also they almost shove me over the wall on Destruction during warmup time, i wish they'd push me over, that would be funny.

Heh, well that would be an unusual exception, since the bot was under you when it shoved you. However, the "crazy" shoving they can do while in warmup isn't their behavior in the normal game. 9_9 :P

It is, i never played the shrub mod so the whole shoving thing is new to me. It kind of bugs me sometimes they shove you through alleys right into enemy fire, but no big deal, just shove em back, lol.
