View Full Version : Problem with my rented server
This is the first time I am trying to install mean bot.admin, the problem I am having is not getting mean to work but to get metamod to work. I am renting a 22 man linux server in my control panel I have access from my cstrike folder and anything in it. so I don't have access to the hlds_run
to enter
+localinfo mgamedll addons/metamod/dlls/metamod_i386.so
+localinfo mbotmod podbot_mm
is this the only way I can get this to work ?
you dont need to find the command line then. just use liblist.gam in cstrike folder. example: game "Counter-Strike"
url_info "www.counter-strike.net (http://www.counter-strike.net/)"
url_dl ""
version "1.6"
size "184000000"
svonly "0"
secure "1"
type "multiplayer_only"
cldll "1"
hlversion "1111"
nomodels "1"
nohimodel "1"
mpentity "info_player_start"
gamedll "mean\mean.dll"
//gamedll "addons\metamod\dlls\metamod.dll"
//gamedll "dlls\mp.dll"
trainmap "tr_1"
sv_lan 0
i'm not sure about the m_bot but hmmm what if you made a shortcut in your cs folder that you have acess to and then you just put those in it's command line?
Thanks now metamod and the bots are loading the only other problem is the mbotmod podbot_mm I can't figure out how to add this I have tried a couple different ways, you have any guess on how the line should read
mbotmod podbot_mm
m_botmod podbot_mm

Look at this thread (http://forums.bots-united.com/showthread.php?t=1053) and read the post about placing commands into the autoexec.cfg file.
