okay, i just downloaded this, could someone post a step-by-step installation guide for CS 1.6 use?

okay, i put the files in my c:/program files/steam/steamapps/counter-strike folder, but it still wont work, why?

Have you downloaded the .exe file from the filebase or the .zip beta?

1. download this file:
http://yapb.bots-united.com/files/yapb.exe

2. execute it, and install it to your <steam>\steamapps\<your-account>\counter-strike

then everything should be ok. Also if you want to your Metamod please install Metamod first.

whenever i try to change the place in the .exe, like the path, it crashes. then, i just typed in the path i mentioned above, and it still doesn't work.

it is 1.6 too...

it's a bit strange, I tried the installer .exe file and it worked okay...
or you can just install to the default c:\sierra\half-life folder, then move the "cstrike" folder inside c:\sierra\half-life to the path I mentioned above

so put my sierra/half-life into the cstike folder in steamapps?
