Heyyo,

Heh, I did them a long time ago for PODbot v2.5... but after a big reformatting due to viruses n' junk, n' my compaq sucked anywho, I lost a lot of my work... oh the horror...

Oh well, they weren't that good since it was some of my early work.. lmao, I remember using the Fusion Pack v6 onnit... you know? back when it was free? :P

@ Yossarian: I see you read the thread... nice to see the posting guidelines in action. ;) LOL, now biohazerd is already working on the waypoints... oh well, too bad for me... now I'll have to sit back and relax. :D I would have made 'em, otherwise.

@T Wrecks - maybe it will be not a big problem for You to tweak a bit this cs_arabstreet.pwf I've sent You once (for testing garage door and button). Maybe don't need to make a new one - to save a bit Your time? If You will have time - try to look at it and decide - possible tweak or it's better make a new one - so the people will need more patience then.

No problem, Biohazerd is already on the job, and the practice can only do him good. ;)
And if I were to waypoint this map, I'd take my PB 2.5 waypoint and tweak it a little... it got some really nifty features, difficult jumps, and camp spots where you wouldn't expect bots at all. :D
But let's see what Bio can come up with - I'm sure it will be very good. :)

this is gonna take a little longer cause my CS has been crashing for no reason and i was half way done, and i saved it when i was 1/4 way done and and i lost some stuff srry

But you know, there are some people who prefer to have easy bots, which they like to shoot down with an AWM then... well, some typical "I-can't-stand-to-lose"-CS freaks. And I just love the thought that a bot might pwn such a freak by getting him from a position where our poor AWM kiddie would never have suspected a bot... 8D

A while ago, when me & my friends made small LAN parties once in a while and played CS with bots, I always grinned when one of them got killed by a bot and started shouting: "WTF ??? Who killed me? Where... whaaaat, how did that bot get up there?" Then they usually got a bit angry at me, cause I made the waypoints... :P

DUDE that is exactly what i do lol... i'll either put them in really obvious places like right infront of a door so when the freak runs thru it they won't even expect it or in places they didn't know you could get to lol

@ KWo: Actually not. I don't know how many times a bot blew me away, and when I saw where it had been, I thought: "Hell, yeah - I totally forgot that I placed a WP up there." So after all gameplay was quite even... :P

@ Yossarian: Sorry for spamming your thread - I hope it makes the waiting time a bit less boring for you at least. If not, just tell us to shut up, eh?

I've finally had the time & the mood to look at them... No, they don't suck. In fact, the only thing I would really change is the waypoints around that garage door.

1) The door is already open by default. Get rid of the button flag. The way it's waypointed, the first bot to approach the door is likely to shut it in front of himself, which is a bit stupid...

2) Use one-way conncetions to force bots to go past the button before they can go through the door. In case the door is closed (by a human player, for example), this will give bots the opportunity to open it.

But all in all, your waypoints work fine. Due to those door waypoints, once in a while a bot gets stuck for some time, but thanks to the improved code (great work sPlOrYgOn!), most of the time they will eventually get unstuck somehow.
If you use the method I just mentioned, the advantage is that bots will be very unlikely to get stuck at all, but they are also highly unlikely to close the door, and that can also be a kind of feature... some ppl may like it the way it is.

You know what? For the website-to-be, we could offer both versions actually. Then people could decide according to their respective taste.

yeah i was wondering about that, but you guy where talking about it so i put it in lol (the door), the funny part is that bots kill eachother in the door lmao
