unknown command "shrikebot"

It recognises the bind = "shrikebot menu" but doesn't work.

It says;

Unkown Command "shrikebot"

I have installed it for DOD on steam.


Please help!

hiya
bind a other key to the menu..open the bot.cfg etc
and look for the entry- shrike bot menu ..delete the ---> =
and use a other key ..b or p or whatever you want ;)).

nope didnt work :(

If it helps, the liblist file is replaced with the original at some point during the game.


also do i need any parameters on the hl.exe? like -shrikebot or anything?

Ahh instead of setting shrikebot.dll in the liblist file do it in the steam launch properties:

Click the launch properites in this window:
http://www.xs4all.nl/%7Ejasp/shrikebot/manual/steamprop.jpg

Make it look like this:
http://www.xs4all.nl/%7Ejasp/shrikebot/manual/steamlaunch.jpg

This setting make sure the shrikebot.dll is loaded.
And will stay no matter if you update steam or dod.
The liblist.gam file gets over written by steam.

Thankfully the updated installer in the next release will fix the problem.....
