wiki, how the heck do ya login?

I find wiki quite a mess. Perhaps its because i am not used to ReadStringsThatAreAttached. To end up in pages IhaveToLogin, but IcannotLoginSomehow.

Anyway, enough of the sarcasm.

I get on wiki, i see at the bottem right something called "sign in". So i want to signin, i fill in the username (assuming it is the same as on this forum). As i am not aware of any other username at this moment.

I get into a page and i have to insert a password, i fill the forum password in this. It can't log me in this way.

I tried several 'usernames' and 'passwords'. But it wont let me in?

if you have a email address @bots-united.com you type in that username and password.
if not you have to type something like this StefanHendriks to login.

perhaps the e-mail stuff works, i did not try that yet. Lemme see.

i do not have an e-mail account with BU, and i also have trouble logging in.

if you don't have an email here then you need to make a wiki word to login.
wiki words are words string together starting each word with a capital letter like this: SomethingWord

ok, i'll explain:

as username you _need_ to use a WikiWord, that is a word having atleast 4 chars, and atleast 2 capital letters, and no spaces or special characters.
e.g.
PeterPan, MisterBiG, MiStErNaStY,MyName, AwoRd
but not :
peter pan, CU, OmG, Blody Mary

and @stefan, you should be able to log in using stefan (w/o the @bots-united.com) and your password you use for fetching the mail from the BU server. it must mork, since the wiki does use the IMAP server for auth.

nah a bad one, it ues PEAR and is not even prepared to do real db auth with its own database :-(
i'd rather look for changing the pafiledb stuff to use the admin level id's from the v3 tables, so that i can skip that admin adding ...
