i have not tried your thingy. however, your forum did direct me to phpua which is quite nice if you have a host capable of hosting php.

Hmmm... maybe it would be ok to make it a sticky in the bot server forum? If you had never raised this question, I would never have thought about it. That's why I didn't vote: The only thing that's for sure is that you shouldn't delete it. If it's a useful "thingy" for ppl running a server (and I bet it is, although I don't know the first thing about servers and stuff), then it's good if ppl can get it here.

I completely agree with T Wrecks: due to the interest it generates, this application needs not a forum, but a thread in an existing server management forum.

There was a suggestion to move all these forums under "Servers" or something like that. I'll see if I can find the thread.
Here is the thread

Here's the post in the thread with the suggestion

2 council members have voted. We need one more and option #1 can be validated.
If there's dispute, it can be solved by an official vote in the administrative forum, as usuals...

I voted option #1, however imo I'd make the forum thread general in scope to include all server status thingys.

Either open support to all the server status utilities (phpUA, etc...) and so try to keep a whole forum for this (but I doubt the frequentation will rise very much), or consider that support for server status tools are in some way general server support, and make a sticky thread for this in the server support forums, which are not that active too.
this thread is lonely.
i dont want to spam, but.
HELP!

You're the moderator of this forum, rob :) It's up to you to decide what you want to do. The Agora is here just to collect ideas and have the public participate. When you've made up your mind ask an admin or a council member if you need to request important changes that a moderator alone can't do.
ok...
to whom it may concern:
please move the forum (rob's server status thingy) somewhere off the front page.
thanks

We can do that, but it's up to you to tell us WHERE you want us to move it...
"somewhere" doesn't help much ;)
