In the lower right corner is a "Sign In" field. Enter your username there. This will take you to another page where you could enter your password.
Then simply navigate to the page you want to edit (unless your already there) and kick the "Edit" button in the lower left corner of the page. You will see an edit box and below that some explanations how you can use it. Use the preview button to see if everything looks like you desire and once you're satisfied save the page...
For examples how to use it, study existing pages (by editing them).

terran, thanks for the info :)

I tried it before, but it would not accept my username. So i wonder, is the username the same as on the board here? Or is it my e-mail? i dunno. I will try some things, did it before though so this is for me the 2nd shot :)

thx again, perhaps i just was to impatient and hit the X to soon :D

you have to put it in the form of SomeThingLikeThis in order for it to accept you...

it is your email and email passwd, that is the one reserved, else you can choose a WikiWord like usernamen (w/o password)

how often are those files updated?

which files ?

/edit

okay for clarity, any normal user can use any wiki word as log in, but he does not have nick protection or is required to have a passwd.

all BU server-user (having an email address at the BU server) can use their email login name (w/o the @bots-united.com), which does have password authentication.

well i will update them, when a new "issue" arises. so to say they are not changed as long as i can compile the bots and metamod with them. the bot i test primarily is hpb_bot, running metamod as on the realbot page, adminmod on linux steam CS 1.6 server. from time to time i will also test realbot, usually the latest WIP version stefan compiled and relaesed.

i do not compile for linux glibc 2.3 or windows, as most developers compile on windows and release, there is no need for it, and linux glibc 2.3 can safely run the versions compiled for glibc 2.2 (i386).

remeber that if you compile metamod for glibc 2.3 this _might_ couse trouble, but it is also reported to run as expected.

cheers

i'm new to linux and i dunno what glibc is but i know i have glibc2.3 and its probably the header and standard library files for c/c++..

This you're talking about is not related to this thread. Please make a different topic.

We're talking about the United Bot here.
