yea in your liblist.gam you put metamod there...
and you put statsme in metamod.ini/plugins.ini
then make a file called config.ini in your metamod folder and put
gamedll location/of/bot.dll

i hope this isnt the same question because i didnt even understand the answer but:
can i have statsme on a listen server? (the thing that says how much dmg you did to the enemy and how much they have left and who was the best killer of the round program.....if thats statsme.....)
id like to know how to get that thi9ng running on my listen server

that is StatsMe, and you download it from www.unitedadmins.com (http://www.unitedadmins.com/) you unzip it to your mod folder and make an entry for it in your plugins.ini.

if you're playing 1.5 you need 2.7.1 since the 2.8 betas are only for steam.

but i wouldn't suggest using statsme with podbot because statsme starts lagging behind when podbot is loaded..
so far i only tested this with 2.7 and 2.7.1 with almost any podbot.

maybe you can use amx's stats plugins...
it doesn't lag behind when podbots are in the game.

i was hopeing i could have ongoing rankings with my bots.....but as i see.....playing with 20 total players.....only 2 get rankings......and both of them are my name from playing 2 different times (i left the game once and came back). theres a third one there each time stats that must be preselected high......
how to get this to stay ongoing?? or will that only work with a DS thats online 24/7 ?
help me keep my stats.....
where is the command.......what must i change......please be specific so i dont have to ask again cuz i will ask again :)

I havn't used psychstats for about two years now. But I could imagine that you can configure it to do ranking by name and not by authid.
I'm using hlstats (unitedadmins.com) which has realtime statistics and ranks my bots too 8):

i got the statsme to work......now its banking info :)
playing with 32 on the lan server does lag the hell out of it......but with 20 total its perfect :)

@SF: try my "logfix" plugin, it will give the bots a valid number as AuthID and not "BOT", this may fool the stats programs in believing the bots are human players and you might be able to rank them like this.

i got it to work......theres an option to not log as authid
its compatible with bots i just overlooked that option......for me......that program and its scripts are a lot to read!

Hey SF, would you mind telling me how you got statsme working like a charm with bots;) I have this problem with the bot names. The names being displayed by statsme are not the names of the bots on the scoreboard???:(

in the statsme folder theres a statsme.cfg.....in there the first editable line after the password part is :
// Rank by AUTHID
// If you play with bots, or on a LAN Server you should *not* enabled Rank by AUTHID
sm_storebyauth 1
need to change the 1 to a 0 so it looks like this :
// Rank by AUTHID
// If you play with bots, or on a LAN Server you should *not* enabled Rank by AUTHID

hey SF. I got the ranking working now, but I still have the name bug, but I have found that the bug only begins once you kick the bots and add new, then statsme keeps the names of the old bots. SF could you please try and see if you can reproduce this bug and tell me if you have any solution?

does it add to the number in the list when you type /rankif it does think about this:
sometimes you will have 2 bots carrying the same name......and one has a [1] at the start of his name i believe......so this will naturally increase the number of rankings by 2. check the number of names in the Botnames.txt and double it.....see if it matches......if it doesnt......then i dont know what it is.

Its just like when you look at a player the hud_centerid 1 makes you see the name they really have, but the player name under it which comes from statsme are the names the bots had in the round before.

you downloaded amx mod 0.9.8 I assume.
Ok once you have extracted that, you go to your metamod plugins.ini and you only make an entry for the file "amx_mm.dll" nothing else. The modules are handled in your addons\amx\modules.ini and that file should look fine by default loading both the "csstats_mm.dll" and "fun_mm.dll". So then just start CS and type "amxmodmenu" in console and go to your stats setting and activate what you want, then save the config and restart your server. That should be all there is to it.

but you have to leave the game completely.....and i forgot that...i came back in and it was reset with that command csstats_reset 1

and i also noticed some of the plugins offered are .sma files......which need to be compiled right? why dont they send the .amx?

all you do is go in examples or move the files into "examples" the folder in the amx folder and run the .bat file it should compile everything

Yeah that's right. You remove the comment in the .inc file and recompile.
To recompile you go to the examples folder and doubleclick the compile.bat file and it recompiles all the .sma files in the examples folder and puts the compiled files in the "compiled" folder inside the "examples" folder. Then you select all the files inside the "compiled" folder and copy them to the plugins folder, replacing all existing files.
That's it. All done;)
BTW the reason you should always download the .sma files when you download a plugin, is because the plugin needs to be compiled with the .inc files inside the "examples/include" folder of the exact version of AMXmod you are using for full compatibility, and you should recompile the plugins that come with the .zip file of AMXmod anyway, so it's really a must to know how to compile in AMXmod.

ok all i need to know is that the compile.bat is using the .inc files i changed in the examples/include folder to compile the .sma files in the examples folder.......the end product is stored in exmples/compiled?.....is that right?
EDIT
i just compiled as directed and copied and pasted all .amx files from the compiled folder into plugins, and over wrote everything.
then i opened a map in CS 1.5 and the console was telling about error loading about 15 of those plugins.......and then my HL crashed.....and again too...
then i reinstalled the original amx's from the install zip......and it crashed again.....whether thans the amx stuff causing the crash or PMB's latest bot update......
i am now clueless as to whats going on.......
